Maximo has grown organically over the decades and has transited through several development platforms. Code Development has been actively involved with every Maximo version (even with the DOS version from the 1980's!) and has built both an impressive knowledge base and an intuitive understanding of Maximo customisation. This cross-version knowledge of Maximo is especially useful with organisations that are running different versions of Maximo simultaneously (e.g. different locations in the same organisation). It is quite common in such cases that the Maximo systems on the different sites need to exchange information and to do so, the developer must be familiar with all of the Maximo technologies that are involved.
